CALL TO ORDER: 7:30 am

PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES: approved as read

SECRETARY'S REPORT
John Deputy would like to be put on retirement status, pay annual dues and meals when in attendance.

Stacy Hudgins is moving and will resign from the Mathews Club. She can attend Gloucester Point as visiting member in the interim.

John Dayton will check with Art Miller re Brian Walters status with YMCA paying dues.

Jay Black will come to next board meeting to discuss membership and attendance.

TREASURER'S REPORT
Dues bills have gone out.

COMMITTEE REPORTS

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
August 16 HAM Wal-Mart Shopping and Cookout, 8 am shopping, 11:30 lunch.

August 27 Yard Sale. Mike, Rodney and Steve can’t make it. Ask membership if they want to join or wait until September.

Update given on Williams Wharf project. A check needs to be sent to MCLC.

John Dayton concerned about club’s low attendance. Discussion ensued. Ed Davis will make contact with non-attending members.

John also concerned about people sitting in same place each week. Georg declined to bring this to the membership.

Market Days sign up still low. Mike Brown suggested dropping potato gun booth...doing just seafood wraps. Bobbi McElroy suggested bringing up to membership before dropping potato gun.

NEW BUSINESS
A sample of the seafood wrap will be featured at next meeting.

Wine Tasting discussed. Tickets will be ready for August business meeting and sold at Market Days. Each member required to sell four tickets at $25 each. Need to do a walk thru at Grandview. Dave Burns will present event details as Rotary program.

Habitat for Humanity is requesting a day of Rotary labor on the upcoming Mathews house.
