SECRETARY'S REPORT

COMMUNICATIONS
Received $1,000 Simplified Grant to be used for defibulators. Ed will talk with MVRS about procedure. 

September 16 Stafford Foundation District Conference/banquet. Bill and Ed attending. Bobbi will get framed crab print to use as door prize.

Bobbi will forward District newsletter to entire membership via email; print a few for those without email. 

TREASURER'S REPORT
Bill asked Bobbi to call when bank statement arrives. 

Ed will make general announcement re overdue bills. If not paid by next meeting, will announce name and add late fee. 

COMMITTEE REPORTS
Habitat workday, September 23, cutting firewood from felled trees. Need volunteer sign up list.  

September 30, Habitat is tearing down a large house on Gwynn's Island. Call Jim Richards for details. 

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Wine tasting event update. 

Williams Wharf privy has been approved by Zoning. 

Reminder to discuss new member checklist at next board meeting. 

Ed will follow up on incorporation. 

NEW BUSINESS
Ed will pursue Potato Gun event at Islander. 

October 12 social at Boatel, no morning meeting. Members are to bring hors d’oeuvres.
